This week in Year 1, we have been thinking about new beginnings. During circle time, we reminded ourselves how to be a good friend and thought about our own special friends in David Beckham class. Next, we sat in a circle and orally composed the sentence…”______ is a special friend to me because_____”. We then rolled a ball of string to our friend and eventually everyone in the class had a piece of string (including Miss Newton and Mrs Chowdry). It wasn’t until afterwards that we realised we’d created our very own Friendship Web. What a lovely group of special friends we have in Year 1!
