My name is Afsheen Shouket and I am the Parental Involvement Worker (PIW) at Rainbow Primary School. At Rainbow we strongly believe in working very closely with parents and carers to ensure that all our pupils are supported and inspired to achieve their full potential. Your child’s class teacher will always be the first port of call for this, my role as PIW is to further strengthen this relationship by developing additional links with the families through providing parents workshops, drop-in sessions, recreational trips and sign posting.
Please look out for letters and invitations in your child’s book bag, Parents Notice Board in the play area, the school website and twitter page for news and regular updates.
Follow us at @rainbow_primary.
You’ll find me on the school playground when you come to drop off your children in the morning and also when you come to pick them up at the end of the day.
Please do come by and say hello.
I look forward to meeting you very soon.
