Job Description for Lunchtime Assistant

We are looking for caring and observant Lunchtime Assistant to join our team. You will be expected to lead play activities and ensure the health and welfare of children, supervise children in classes and the dining hall. You will need to be reliable, committed and interested in working with children and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model.

The role is for 10 hours per week (11.20 – 1.20) Term Time only
 
DBS & References will be required and applied for by the school upon offer of the job.
 
Closing Date: Thursday 18th October 2018 at 12 noon

Interviews will take place on: Friday 19th October 2018 from 3.15pm onwards

Parental Involvement & Engagement Worker  

5 days per week ‐ 30.5 hours per week including some Saturday working
Band 6 ‐ 7, Pts 17‐25, Actual Payable Salary Range including holidays   12,752 ‐ 15,783 (depending on qualifications / experience)

Required as soon as possible, PIW / to work at Rainbow Primary School. The successful candidate will be required to work with Children / Parents / Carers and other staff members to ensure good relations between home and school and equip parents/carers with the skills needed to support their childrens learning.  

You will need:

  • To work in partnership with Parents and Carers
  • To encourage good relationships between home and school
  • To work with parents to ensure children are attending school
  • To provide information to families regarding relevant local services available

Teaching Assistants (Level 1)

Band 3 (scale 8‐12 depending on experience)
