At Rainbow our admissions are primarily dealt with by Bradford Local Authority. As a newly established school we have a number of places available across all year groups from Reception to Year 6, however when demand exceeds the numbers of places in a particular year group, the following priorities will apply;

  1. School Looked- After Children, defined under S2, The Children Act, and 1989(b).
  2. Referrals from other agencies on the basis of need 9e.g. social, medical)
  3. Children with a sibling attending Rainbow at the point of admission.
  4. Children living nearest to school will be admitted first.

At Rainbow we comply with the terms of Disability Discrimination Act, making reasonable adjustments to meet special needs.

Parents and carers of children starting at Rainbow are invited to a meeting at which the Head Teacher will outline the School organisation and expectations followed by an opportunity for parents and carers to ask any questions.
